Not much around the hotel there a liquor store close by. did the transfers once never again. We book a car to and from the hotel. use Express execucar for getting to the pier. stayng there again on the ruby Apr. 18

My preference would always be to grab a shuttle immediately upon arriving at LAX (They are really cheap--$17 per person) to a nice hotel in San Pedro--perhaps the Crowne Plaza...and spending the night there...

You have to book it. We get a private car to San Pedro and it is direct to the hotel, Crowne Plaza. It's a little more but a lot nicer then waiting for a few more people to fill the van and doing 3 or 4 stops to get were you are going. I think a private car is $50.00 plus tip not positive on the price. I always call the day before and confirm. Pickup at the port is simple just call with aprox. time you think you will be ready and they will be waiting.
