Lilar Posted March 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hi all! Sailing 4/17 with my mom and we have a deck 9 midship balcony cabin booked. I've read a few comments about the overhang above the balconies due to deck 10 being larger. Has anyone been in one of these cabins? Is it super noticeable/annoying? Any input would be great, thanks! sarahlfiles Posted March 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2016 Ive stayed in a cove balcony with lifeboats overhead and they didn't bother is a bit. We actually enjoyed having the extra coverage because it rained three nights and we were still able to enjoy our balcony.

Had a cove on the Dream last year and it was pouring the day we sailed away. It was nice that we could still sit out on our balcony despite the rain. And having the lifeboat above us was not a problem. After all, you'll be looking out at the water, not at the sky. You can look at the sky when you are at home. crysanne Posted March 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2016 We had a balcony on deck 9 mid ship on Dream. I didn't notice the overhang from deck 10 at all. I loved the balcony and location. Convenient to everything.
