Panama Canal

Hey all you cruisers! We're booked on the Coral for the Panama Canal this Saturday. Has anyone taken the Chagres River Cruise & Nature Walk? Any opinions? Would it be better just to stay on the boat?

Didn't do that excursion but I'd suggest you do something-don't just stay on the ship! Do the coast to coast trip, or the Embara tribe, or the rain forest-but do something!

We did the Ocean to Ocean Experience and was fabulous. I also have talked to people who did the Embera Tribe tour and they all loved it. If I have an opportunity to go back to the partial transit of the Canal I am going to take the Embara Tribe tour. Go to the Ports of Call Board for more info. Do a search there. There is alot of info on both excursions.
