What is the dress code for normal evening wear? are jeans /cotton shirts ok for men,dress shorts nice tops for women,Any seasoned cruisers have any tips on weather conditions?Is it cold at night on deck?We are travelling30/4/2016 for 1 week west Med.Thanks all.xx

Dress code on normal evenings is smart casual. Men can wear jeans as long as they are smart - my hubby wears trousers and a shirt with open neck. Ladies can wear anything - dress, skirt and top, trousers. Most women dress smartly - as you would if you were going to a restaurant at home. No shorts in the dining room but you can wear shorts in the buffet, although not many do.

With regard to the weather - it can vary so much. You will probably need a wrap or cardigan on deck in the evening but will be warm enough inside. However it can sometimes be cool inside with the air con so it's always wise to keep a cardigan handy.
