I'd use athletic tape not duct tape, still shave though, or not, getting "waxed" by the tape should only happen once .

We are 17 days from cruising and my husband just broke his ankle.:(:(

Any suggestions on how to make this trip a little easier? He is on crutches, with a cast up to his knee and cannot put any weight on his ankle.

Cancellation is not a option, we are cruising with my best friend and her 3 children.

My main concern is showering, he cannot get his cast wet and cannot put any weight on it. I have emailed special needs to see if they have a shower chair that we could use.

Other than that I am just STRESSED OUT!!

sorry to hear, as for the shower i would head to the gym showers alot bigger then the rooms. good luck on the bar bill:)

I was in an air cast for our cruise last month ... it definitely took a lot of the wind out of our sails, so to speak. I did find a cool walking stick while we were in Mexico, that was very helpful.

Now I'm in a cast. :(

I did take the *good* drugs that I was prescribed with me, unfortunately since nausea is common side effect, mixed with a little sea sickness and it was all over for me, for a little while anyway. lol :o
