Pirate Night-7 Night cruise

We've been on the 7 day Western, but they didn't have a pirates night. It was several years ago. I know they didn't have them on the three and 4 day cruise either.

This could be something they have started in the last couple of years.

With the popularity of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, DCL now offers a Pirates in the Caribbean night. Everything from dinner to a late night party are pirate themed.

I believe this is on all intineraries 4 days and longer.

Pirate night replaced the tropical deck party last January on all DCL cruises. We have done it twice now.

Everyone is invited to dress like a pirate at dinner and attend a pirate deck party that starts at 9:45 p.m. which contains a few surprizes, music, dancing, characters in pirate attire, a short skit with captain hook, followed by fire works and a buffet on deck 9 with a big dessert display!!

More people tend to dress up as pirates on the 7 day cruises as opposed to the 3 and 4 day. I dont know why.

At dinner about dessert time your waiters will give you a pirate bandana as a souvenir and place it on your head.

It's an awesome party.
