silhoutte embarkation gang plank

Some posters have commented on the steepness of the gang planm at the ft lauderdale embarkation site.

any idea how steep?

does the gang plank contain multiple levels?

I would call it more of a ramp much like those at public buildings to accommodate those who cannot handle the stairs. Not steep. I am 71 and not a workout person but I had no problem negotiating it in January.

If I recall correctly, we embarked the Silhouette from terminal 29 in November - it was a steep, long walk with multiple levels. In February we embarked the Silhouette from terminal 25 which was much easier with two levels, I believe. My 87 year old mom walked it and did fine (stopped once); terminal 29 would have been very hard.
