NCL Sky Specialty Dining

We will be sailing on the Sky in June. We're perfectly happy with having our meals in the MDR or buffet, but if we wanted to use one of the specialty restaurants (and pay extra), can we reserve a table once we board...or do we need to purchase the UDP--which I really don't want to do because I want to remain as flexible as possible. What are the charges for the specialty restaurants? Are they ala carte or is there a flat upcharge?

You do not have to purchase a plan. Your ship has three specialty restaurants (Cagney's, Il Adagio and Le Bistro) that are all available a la carte.

You can show up any time, reservations are optional, but you may need to wait if it's a busy night.

The menus are a la carte so you can just have an app or dessert if you want, or go for the full experience.

Most people think that Le Bistro has the best food of the three, with Cagney's steaks coming in a close second and Il Adagio's Italian a distant third. Although I enjoyed all three very much (on the Pride of America, I've never sailed the Sky myself).

Only Le Bistro and even that is pretty loose - No shorts or t-shirts. Slacks and button up shirts or polos are just fine. Leave the suit and tie at home!

Woohoo! Thanks! My DH will be very happy--if we choose to eat at one of those places :)

I was on the sy a few weeks ago. Ther restaurants can be a la cart and you can make reservations once on board. The only one that was busy while i was on board was Cagneys.
