Qm2 Best Cabin Article In Conde Nast

Some may recall last year Conde Nast Traveler sent a young correspondent who had never cruised before to review the ocean liner for our times, QM2, who had no idea what was and was not important.

In the mail yesterday was their “Insider Secrets” special edition. In the Best Cabin section on page 22, when giving tips on QM2, John Ferguson, Pisa Brothers (800-729-7472) writes:

“There are balcony cabins with Britannia Dining, but since those balconies are set back within the ship’s hull, your view is narrowed.”

So I called Mr. Ferguson who Conde Nast so thoughtfully published his travel agency phone number. Currently on a Crystal Ship, his associate informed me the Mr. Ferguson has already been on QM2 3 times! So I left a message for him: “What about those Britannia cat balconies on decks 11 and 12 with the all encompassing view of the sea, ship and bridge?”
