mengel246 Posted March 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Hello! We are traveling with our 3 and 5 year old children. Would you recommend doing just the Turtle Farm and pool area or leaving and finding a beach (or something else.. suggestions?) My kids can nap if I force them but can also technically miss naps too so that's not an issue for them. I believe it's a pretty early port day and ship leaves around 4. Thanks! cb at sea Posted March 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2016 (edited) I think you'll have time for both beach and turtle farm....beaches are public, so no need to pay the turtle farm to swim there. Unless you're from the Caribbean, you won't want to spend more than an hour or two in that sun...it's FIERCE!!!! It will burn you up, if you aren't slathered in sunscreen! 7 Mile Beach is on your way back to the ship....buses run regularly, so that's easy! lucyddr Posted March 25, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2016 Will you report back on the logistics when you do this? I know we can take the bus to the Turtle Farm, but I'm not sure about the Turtle Farm to the beach and the beach to the port. We will be doing the same with our 3 year old twins in September. I think we are going to try to do the Turtle Farm pass with the swimming pool access for a few hours, then maybe the beach if we have the energy. If the Grands are willing to stay on the boat and there's enough time, we may get the kids back on the ship so that my husband and I can snorkel an hour or so at Eden Rock. It's amazing! Just tell the bus driver you want to go to Seagrapes / Calico Jack's ( the public beach). You catch the bus back to the ship opposite the entrance to the public beach and parking lot in the left hand lane of the road ( left side if you were facing the ocean). Remember they drive British style there so that is side of the road headed back to port. Edited March 27, 2016 by CocoCandy
