I am leaving the royal princess in st thomas, before the end of the cruise, with prior permission. Now they are saying I have to leave the ship at 645am even though it is in port until 530p and my flight leaves at 6p.

Any ideas on how to stay on board later in the day or on a convenient hotel that would rent me a day room?

Sorry I can't help. But I am very interested in this story, you paid for the whole cruise and it seems pretty rude for princess to ask you to leave SO early that morning. Did they give you an explanation as to ,why you can't disembark in the afternoon.

My only suggestion would be, ask and ask again... until you are at least satisfied with their explanation. And they aren't simply pushing you off , for THEIR convenience.
