Late April weather South of France

I have the opportunity to go on the Silver Spirit April 26-May 2 from Barcelona to Rome. Can anyone give me weather details for a cruise during this time? The weather is supposed to be mid/high 50's-mid 60's during this time but how does this translate on board? Clothes etc? The thing I'm most concerned about is whether we will encounter rough seas during this time. Any details would be great. Thanks!

In many ports you will need a light jacket in the morning but our experience is that on many days as the sun came out and the morning progressed that we no longer needed the jackets as it was warm enough to walk around without wearing them.

Keep in mind that weather is variable so you can't be sure ahead of time.

For us this is a great time to visit this area as it is not hot and humid and so very crowded with visitors as you experience later in the summer.
