Great Time on the Bounty

Recently returned from our l0 day voyage on the Sun Princess and Curacao was one of our stops. We booked the Bounty after reading about it on Cruise Critic.

 

What a great time we had. There were only 12 people aboard the day we sailed. We were picked up outside the gate at the pier and rode for about 1/2 hour to our destination.

 

We have a great time snorkeling and Captain Perry put on a great lunch buffet. (he could open up a restaurant - his food was so good).

 

A great time was had by all. Only problem we encountered was the taxi was late taking us back to the ship. However, we did make it in time.

How'd you hear about the bounty? Do they have a web site? What was the charge?

 

I might like to be a pirate for the day...

I believe it cost us $49 per person, included pickup and return to the ship, buffet lunch, and lots of rum and vodka. In my opinion, can't go wrong for the price.

Gibson, 3 couple off of the Sea Princess have booked the Bounty on the internet, for Nov 16, 2005, but none of us have heard back from them. Did you hear back right away, or did it take some time?

As I recall Perry was pretty quick in responding to our booking. If I were you, I would contact him again to make sure the booking went through.

The response from the Bounty for a November 23rd excursion was that they will have the boat in Venezuela at that time. Bummer. This sounded like an excursion that my mother, sister and sons would have enjoyed.

Sure would have liked to sail on the Bounty last week. But it was raining so hard, there was no way any water excursions were going. Hopefully we can book it again for next spring. It sounds fantastic.
