Amerisuites - Weston???

I am taking a stab in the dark here and am looking for any information on the Amerisuites - Weston, FLL area.

 

They seem to have a good price for 2/10 for my precruise stay through valuetrips. The Amerisuites downtown, my date is blacked out on valuetrips, but not at the Amerisuites Weston. I know this is a bit out of the downtown area where I like to stay, but am looking for a back up hotel just in case priceline doesn't come through for me.

 

Has anyone stayed here, if so, how was it and how did you handle transportation. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you're going to stay out there you'll want to rent a car... Weston is a nice area, but it's 30 minutes west of FLL and Port Everglades.
