twocats Posted May 4, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2004 The details are in several other posts here in Princess. Sounds too much like a fan club trip to me, although I do watch the show. When someone comes back, let us know how it was. until we sail away....Panama Canal
GloriaF Posted May 4, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2004 ladyduarte, I think I read another post from you saying you like Friends and Will & Grace instead of Survivor. I like all 3, and just choose survivor instead as the others will be in reruns and I'll catch them later. But to your concern: I think I would move my cruise up a week or a week later -- esp if you have concerns that the reunion will effect your good time. CaptData Posted May 4, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2004 Let me see large group of people acting like teens with idols in their reach. It can become a mob scene very easily. They will get the best places at dinner and take over various lounges at times which means you, unless you want to see/talk/get autographs are going to be the last person the crew will think about. I was in a group of people that weren,t famous but we got the first choice of lounges for meets. Now having said all that it can also be fun. When I was on board with some celebs, I got the pool to myself well everyone else was in a lounge. I also had one Bar Tender too, but no one to get my drink for me so I sat and talked to the Bar Tender for the 30 minutes everyone was somewhere else. The celebes are usually in the Mini Suites so one of the perks is getting on the tenders first so no real delays there. Read the first Caribean Princess review re no personal attention because of the big wigs on board. It will depend if you are going to relax or be pampered. I know when I show my card at the spa when I was with a group I got my choice of time (they told me it was wide opened but Iseen writing in the book). It is your decision but I would change with that knowledge.
