Ketchikan totem poles?

This might be a silly question but I'm asking anyway. We will be in Ketchikan from 7-1:15 on Crown Princess. We booked Aleutians Ballad excursion for my 7yo and I to do from 8:30-11:30. He has been learning about Alaska and studying totem poles. He really wants to see them. Is there an easy/ quick way for him to see a number of totem poles without risking missing the boat?

Any tour to Totem Bight State Park or Saxman Village will offer many totem poles and will get you back to the ship in plenty of time in addition to walking around town.

On our first trip to Alaska we booked the Saxman Village tour thru the cruiseline. It was wonderful. We went into the clanhouse and a carving shed. So interesting watching the poles being carved and dancing with the natives .
