Brandon, Fl Hotels? Decent, Safest

Recommended Posts

I would like some input from locals on the following hotels in the Brandon area.

LaQuinta Inn

Baymont Inns & Suites

Best Western Conference Center

Hampton Inn

Also, I am looking at the Crown Plaza on exit 260B.

I will be arriving prior to my cruise for 1 night and would like to know which hotels are decent and in safe areas. The most important being the safety of the area.

Any information you can give will be greatly appreciated.:) :)

I am not sure why you are worring about Brandon. My sister and family live there and we have been there many times. It is a very safe area.

It's not like some area's of Tampa. Brandon is a very safe, middle class area.

Hampton Inn's and LaQuinta a good hotels. I feel totally safe shopping, at restuarants, etc. in the area.

Brandon has a big complex of stores and a big nice mall area too; the whole place is surrounded by mega stores like circuit city, etc. and lots and lots of restaurants. Great place when traveling by car to spend one night at. It is a nice area of Florida off of I75. My kids used to live in St. Pete before moving to Colorado and would drive over there to walk the malls and eat dinner. Very nice place and location. I mean, you will still lock your car doors, etc. but I am never concerned when I am over there. Have a great cruise.
