ricruise Posted April 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Hi, Need some fast advice please. We will be on the Breakaway next week and were researching horseback riding excursions. There is one in Nassau called Happy Trails. Has anyone done this excursion and what was your feedback? It looks like it a ways away from where the ship docks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Rare Jmustang67 Posted April 11, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2016 You can email them directly they will pick you up and drop you off but I have read mixed reviews on them and am still on the fence about doing this myself.
Sissaaaaaa Posted April 11, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) They treat the horses horribly in Nassau. The animals are emaciated, with hips and ribs protruding. As soon as you exit the port area, you will see horse and carriages lined up. Look at the horses. It's beyond sick. ricruise Posted April 11, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted April 11, 2016 When I looked at their website the horses of course look well fed and happy. I am on the fence about this one so if there is any feedback from anyone that has actually done this excursion it will help me finalize the answer.
