I might have to get wheelchair assistance when boarding and disembarkation for my husband. When do they start boarding people in wheelchairs ? We r getting to the NY terminal for 9:30 am. I know Haven people board first. Has anyone gone thru this and what should we do.

We sailed from NYC on 4/3 with my MIL who has difficulty walking more than short distances. We brought her own (transport) wheelchair. We arrived around 10:00, were put into a shorter line for check-in, and then were put into a special area after check-in to await boarding. We were called to board at 11:00.

Sorry I can't help with advice on how well ordering a wheelchair for that procedure works.
