Balcony size on Reflection aft cabin 8355

Just booked on the Reflection for 2018 and went with aft cabin 8355. My question is approx. how big is the balcony. From what I can see it is almost no larger than a regular balcony? I am sailing on the Voyager of the Seas in 2017 with an aft cabin that has a large balcony but it appears the two ships are shaped diff. The price is pretty high for no larger balcony and wondering if this room is worth that difference. Thanks folks.

Aft balconies are all a bit larger. The real value is simply being aft. No wind and great views. They are very desired by many (of course some do not care for them). The corner ones have balconies that are maybe 3 times as large. Aft cabins are almost always more expensive.

We were just in an aft on Reflection on 7 and found the balcony the same size as our friends who were in traditional balcony cabins. We were a bit surprised as our experience on Royal aft cabins has been the balconies were all much bigger than regular balcony cabins.

There also was little overhang above us which in our case was not as good as we normally like the shade. The other thing was there was more ship movement/vibration than we've experienced in other afts we've been in on Royal. Going into ports we were jolted awake more than once in early AM.

We love the view of an aft and enjoy the extra walking but have decided moving forward for us we would not pay extra for a Solstice class aft.

We booked an aft yesterday as that is where I like to be on a RC ship but this ship does not appear to have a larger balcony from what I can tell. I was hoping I was wrong. I do enjoy the view from the aft but that alone is not worth the extra that I would be spending. I have plenty of time to make the change but at this point I think I made a mistake. Thanks to all who have joined in so far.
