Pub Crawl?

I have been reading posts about "pub crawls". Could one of you explain to the newbie what that is?

Just like it sounds. Start at one bar, then work your way through them all. There is usually shooter specials for the pub crawl participants at each bar, hence crawl.

Don't forget to wear you luggage tag so the crew knows where to bring you when they find you passed out...LOL;) This is why you get extra ones...

Are the pub crawls advertised? I've been on 4 cruises and never heard of one.

I don't want to sound like a web blanket, but seeing that Carnival is trying very hard to shake the "party boat" image, why are they doing this? Isn't this just perpetuating the party image?

its advertised on the capers. Not all ships have them and it depends greatly on the cruise director.

 

We are not drinkers but it was a fun way to go around and see all the lounges/bars on the ship.
