Cruise Casino Certificate

Okay! So if you saw my previous post. I hit 2400 points and received the free cruise certificate. For me, the "free" cruise cost $550 (losses). I was booked on carnival for July (a 21 year old sister and me 26, so it made sense). But with this I have cancelled the Carnival Cruise (2000) to book a cruise through Royal. I do not like any of the free cruises, but! there is a casino rate I can get instead or use the 750 credit which is in place of the "free cruise".

 

They are closed now so I figured I would head to the boards to see if anyone knows what the casino rate would be. She said anywhere from 20% to 40% off sometimes combinable.

 

What are your experiences with this?

It generally runs between 13 and 20%. Depends on cabin and availability for that sailing. However it can be less than that if you are a lower rating.

 

You would be better off asking this on the casino thread link that was posted on your original thread, as this is discussed there.

I thought you still had a couple of days left. Are you back? They normally don't give out certificates until last night in case you qualify for something better. The 2400 pt certificate is applicable to inside cabin.
