Kshecruiser0524 Posted May 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2016 My family will be stopping in Key West on our Disney cruise in March. We will have our two kids ages 5 and 8 with us. We were planning to just walk around and try to find stuff to do for the day. Does anyone have any suggestions for good kid friendly site to see while we are there? Are there any excursions anyone has done that their kids enjoyed? Thanks for any ideas.
CT Sean Posted May 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2016 A couple options that I've done a few times and my kids enjoyed http://www.keywestbutterfly.com/ http://www.ripleys.com/keywest/ http://www.keywestshipwreck.com/ (though kids might find a little boring - depends on the kids) We took our kids mangrove kayaking several years ago when they were maybe 8 and 9? and they found it VERY boring. peter_krynicki Posted May 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2016 The Wrecker's Museum and Lookout Tower ---> http://www.keywestshipwreck.com/ The Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters ---> http://www.kwahs.org/visit/lighthouse-keepers-quarters/ Flamingo Crossing for ice cream and fro yo ---> http://www.yelp.com/biz/flamingo-crossing-key-west And a stroll along Easy Way Lane at the Bight to see the several stores there then to walk along the Bight to see the various boats. Then maybe lunch upstairs at Turtle Kraals overlooking the harbor ---> http://www.turtlekraals.com/ Pjk
