Food on cruises in Japan

Anyone who has cruised in Japan recently--is the food a mix of Japanese and Western dishes?

From memory food same as always. mDR menus pretty much as normal. Buffet had some Asian dishes, but these are on other sailings as well. Sailed August last year round trip from Yokohama. Also sailed Beijing to Bangkok in 2013, food same as above.

There may have been a special Japanese menu but I never noticed. We were seated with Westerners and same at nearby tables.

Thank you! I always get a little queasy after eating at a local Japanese restaurant--I don't know how authentic the food is or what it is that causes my issues. I'm pretty adventurous, but this reassures me that there will be plenty of Western food available.
