FLtaylor Posted May 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2016 We have just learned that there will not be a duplicate bridge program on our London to London cruise beginning July 15th. There are 7 ""at sea" days on our 20-day cruise. Does anyone know what we can do to request the program on our cruise? We are extremely disappointed and still hopeful that Oceania will offer duplicate bridge on our much anticipated cruise.
tiptwo2 Posted May 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2016 There are usually bridge times on board. Just not advertised as duplicate play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SellaVee Posted May 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2016 Could you not discuss this with others on your roll call and make your own arrangements in conjunction with the cruise director? You could even ask for notification to be put in the daily newsletter. I know very little about bridge, but I have been on a cruise where another forummer set up a very successful mah jong group. Rare LHT28 Posted May 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2016 do not know anything about bridge but every Oceania cruise we have been on has an active group of players O may not supply instructors but you will have many people to play bridge with
FLtaylor Posted May 7, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted May 7, 2016 All of the Oceania cruises we have been on in the past have offered lessons in the morning and duplicate bridge tournaments in the afternoons on sea days. We enjoy the competition of fellow passengers and not just casual bridge in a foursome.
tiptwo2 Posted May 7, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 7, 2016 None of the Oceania cruises I've been on (3) have done that... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
