Overnight on the Paradise in Cozumel

....haven't ever stayed in a port overnight on ship and our next cruise on the Paradise says that we will be in Cozumel over night. Has anyone else experienced this and willing to share what it is like staying in port over night.

I've stayed overnight in Puerto Vallarta. We were able to come and go as we pleased all night just like a hotel. Most of the guests and crew were ashore. It was like a ghost town on board. Very nice to experience the port in the evening rather than rushing back.
