tenders, ships, and cavetubing ?s

I'll be on the getaway for the may 29th sailing and will be in belize on june 1st. Looking up the port schedule for that day, it looks like two carnival ships will be in port also. I have only cruised once before and none of those stops required tendering. How long does it take to tender? Will it take longer cause there are two other ships? I have reserved a spot with cavetubing dot bz but being a new cruiser I get worried about time. I can't see myself spending 140 pp to do cavetubing through the ship when it will cost less than that for both of us to go privately. I have read some reviews about cutting it close to last tender. Any insights are greatly appreciated!

I know you are sailing this weekend but thought I'd respond anyway.

I did the cavetubing.bz excursion from Getaway a week ago. We reserved the 8AM tender. We got to the theater around 7:45 and got right on a tender with no issues (and no scanning of the cards). It was about a 15 minutes ride to land. We had plenty of time to look around the port before meeting the tour. The way back was just as simple. Got right on a tender with no line, waited for it to fill and got back on the ship.

They are very conscious about what time you need to be back so I had no worries the entire time.

I don't think having multiple ships in port that day will affect it.
