Legend, March to June 2017

Currently on the Independence and was going to book the Legend for May 2017.

 

FCC says it's unavailable and on checking websites (UK and US) all of the itineraries for April, May and June have disappeared.

 

Spoke to LA and she has no idea why.

 

Anyone know what's happening with the Legend?

I was told on Legend in April that all cabins have been given to Chinese TA's to sell. That's why they're not showing on the RCI website.

Phoned RCI yesterday to query some-thing about our 4 booked cruises next Feb/March.

Was told something about 'inventory control'?

Isn't that the excuse they use when they are going to cancel cruises, and re-direct a ship.:eek::eek::eek: Or private charter it?

The Australian website is showing nine straight sold out cruises from Feb-June. I wouldn't have thought they would give five Australia-Pacific cruises to Chinese TAs.

 

Wish I knew what was going on as we're booked on two of these.

It's the China based cruises that are being sold by Chinese TA's. Legends is popular because it's the only RC ship in Brissie.

Legend is repositioning on 9th April 2017 from Brisbane to Hong Kong then going to Singapore then to Dubai then to Venice. All different cruise bookings.Brisbane to Hong Kong sold out on RC website

I just posted the same question about our Vision cruise in September 2017 but we're also booked on Legend in May. We're on the Jewel now and FCC knows no more than we do. Watch and wait and see what happens.
