Question about the Pearl

So we are going on the Pearl in Alaska in 2 weeks and we are staying in a Haven 2 bedroom suite. It is my wife, 11 year old and I. We have only been on the Spirit with NCL in the past and loved our Suite there (Singapore). There was no Haven at that time but I will say, the Spirit is my favorite cruise ship by far. Anyway, getting ready to book some excursions and I was wondering if we should book them normal or book with a concierge in advance (is that even a thing?). Any other tips for this ship, the Haven, or Alaska in general??

If you're thinking of booking excursions through the ship and wish to pre-book them, just do it through the website, OR if you have the Shorex credit, you'll need to call to book with the credit. Don't bother pre-booking Shorex through the pre-cruise concierge. They will likely redirect you to one of the above methods anyway.
