Iceland Air Any Complaints?

Recommended Posts

I have flown them. It used to be the only cheap way to travel to Europe. They fly 757 mostly smaller planes. Not too comfortable. But its an OK airline when the price is right and you will have a stop in Rejkavic...if you can take the tour.

It's a few years since we've flown with them but they were OK. Not the best but nothing wrong with them. We flew from Glasgow to Boston via Iceland. The airport in Iceland is interesting (and expensive). All the European flights arrive about the same time and all the US/Canada flights leave about the same time which means that there are two busy periods with lots of people changing flights and then nothing in between.

If you get the chance and have the time it is well worth the 2 or 3 night stopover to see some of Iceland. An amazing (but expensive) country. Having said expensive - a BigMac was cheaper there than here in the UK .
