We celebrated our 8th anniversary! Big Sister asked, "Is that your special love cake?" We also received a number of great coupons in our room earlier in the cruise since we told them it was our anniversary. One was for the spa, one was for a free photo print, and one was for $25 off a bottle of wine.

After dinner of course we had to play putt putt.

Great Review :) . . . Loved the pictures too! You mention paying for Lobster, do you remember the cost?

It's $20 and is available every night off the steakhouse menu, along with filet mignon, and I think prime rib. The Victory doesn't have a steakhouse restaurant so this options are available in the dining halls.

Most travel insurances are reimbursements, not upfront payments.

I echo the sentiment in hoping your MIL is doing well.

The travel insurance/Carnival paid up front for the flight back from Nassau, the rest will be via reimbursements.

Day 5 - Sea Day:

Seaday brunch is great. I miss the midnight buffet they used to do in the dining hall with the carved ice and carved fruit and all, but I'm too old to enjoy that anyway. I'm asleep by midnight. Did I mention I missed the taco buffet during the lido deck party? I don't recall if they had that in the Fun Times.

Anyway, seaday brunch is great. Here's the fruit loop encrusted french toast.

Chocolate chip pancakes.

Omelet with cheese grits.

Huevos rancheros - eggs on top of a chicken quesadilla. Oh and the jalapeno poppers were great!

Steak and eggs featuring filet mignon.

Hanging out on Promanade deck. Sea day was a mix of sun/overcast and a few showers. Big Sister enjoyed spending a few hours at Camp Carnival. They have a pretty packed schedule of games and activities.

Last dining room show of the cruise.

We had a rain shower so they had closed the rear roof. Right now they are opening it and we are watching it open.

Almost time to say goodbye. The kids had fun.

Last sunset of the cruise. We played some more putt putt.

This must have been from another night because the last night of the cruise was Kungfu Panda 3. We watched it from the hot tub, then from the pool, then from the hot tub again.

The next morning we chose to self-disembark. It's always so much quicker than waiting to disembark by number. Our deck was the one of the first to disembark at 6:45-7. Going through customs and getting off the ship was quick.

We had a short wait for the shuttle to Alamo car rental then we were on the road for home - 10 hours including stops.

Great review, we were on this trip with you. This was our second cruise and it was just my wife and myself. We splurged this trip and got a balcony room, cabin 6394. The weather was great the entire trip and we had a great time.

I was very concerned about the person that had to be taken to the hospital in Nassau and glad to find out now that everything worked out ok.

Thanks again, you have a great looking family.

Did you bring a stroller to Atlantis?

Yes. We bought one of the small fold-up "umbrella" style strollers and never had any issues with taking it anywhere. We took it all over Atlantis and Nassau.
