First and Ten Posted June 1, 2016 Author #26 Share Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) Do you find you get bored? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app Bored on a cruise ship? LOL, never....Casino, bars, bingo, pool, relax, spa, port, shows, comedians, martini making, etc, we can go on and on. I guess there are some people who complain, but then again, some people enjoy complaining Edited June 1, 2016 by First and Ten
First and Ten Posted June 1, 2016 Author #27 Share Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) How is the ship movement, you think the elation will get Guys? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app I will say, this was the first ship at brief times I felt movement. It was only for a minute or two, but a few times I felt the sway. I attributed it to being a smaller ship, but I don't know if that is the reason. Like I said, it may have been 4 or 5 times throughout the entire cruise for a minute or two. The Elation has NOT had the 2.0 upgrade. I don't know if its in the works or not Edited June 1, 2016 by First and Ten
cruisin4Becky Posted June 7, 2016 #28 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Thank you so much for your review! Im cruising on this ship in October and am interested in what others have to say about her. And yes I plan to go down that slide several times. It is one of the things I was interested in about the Elation. lol. As well as the itenerary. I knew Cheers cant be used on HMC . What about food ? how much does it cost on HMC in general. Do those clamshells accomodate 3 people? I will be going back again with 2 othe people in December so we are interested in those. thanks
Buckimion Posted June 7, 2016 #29 Share Posted June 7, 2016 What about food ? how much does it cost on HMC in general. The "picnic" spread on HMC is included in the cruise fare. (Most?) Drinks, including soda, are not.
cocoaloco Posted June 7, 2016 #30 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Would do it again. Did not expect to love the ship but it and the staff are great. Probably the best guest services staff ever on Carnival. Jessica is the best !

Buckimion Posted June 8, 2016 #32 Share Posted June 8, 2016 S&S is good for drinks, but the last I checked, they do not honor Bubbles or Cheers. BBQ Lunch While on Half Moon Cay all of the food is free of charge because it is included in your cruise price. They have a full barbecue lunch served buffet style at the food pavilion from 11:30 to 1:30 which includes the following options: Hot Dogs Hamburgers Ribs Caribbean Jerk Chicken Chili fried rice Chips and salsa Potato salad Salad Cole slaw Cous-cous with roasted Zucchini Titi shrimp & beans tapenade Roasted yellow squash Fresh fruit Banana rum cake Tort Brownies Cookies Lemonade Water

onescgirl Posted June 11, 2016 #34 Share Posted June 11, 2016 Do you find you get bored? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app Yes, we were on 5 day cruise that was suppose to stop at Nassau and HMC. They canceled the HMC stop the morning we supposed to be there and made it an extra sea day. My teenagers ended up being bored staying on the boat because its small and not a lot to do on it. The 2 pools are very small. The pools/jacuzzi's/ping-pong stayed full with little kids. So, it depends, if you just want to lay by the pool relaxing or eating you will be fine. The food is great! But, If you are wanting it to be a more active trip, you may be bored. My kids are very active and they don't just sit around and eat. I do think We would have been fine if we would not have had so many sea days. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
