Using Trip Insurance??

I may have to cancel my cruise. I'll know for sure tomorrow.

How is it dealing with trip insurance? Any pointers? I tried to see if Carnival would let me reschedule but no luck there. Of course, when I booked the cruise I explained that we own our own business and there may be a chance we would have to cancel/change dates and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Now it's a problem.

This is a first cruise for myself and 2 daughters. Hopefully everything will work out and we can go.

Thanks for any advice!

Whether you can easily cancel/rebook depends on the type of fare you booked, are you before or after final payment etc.

Collecting on trip insurance will also depend on if the reason you are canceling is covered by the insurance unless you have "cancel for any reason" insurance.

The folks who booked your cruise just want a commission for booking it. You have to read the fine print to know what your situation involves.

I wish you good luck in getting it all solved.

Sometimes calling again and asking for a supervisor may change the outcome! I'd try that!
