How easy is the palmetto canopy place to find ?

Could I go it alone on a scooter or should i book transportation through someone like tropical rez ?

We booked through Bodden Tours. It was very reasonably priced, they got us there with a couple of sightseeing stops very quickly, and then took us around where we wanted to go afterward. I could see getting there by scooter, but if I recall the road up to the tour was not the best for being on two small wheels, especially if rain was or is involved.

The Canopy Tour is located a mere 500 metres off the main paved road at French Harbour.

The road is wide and graded, and the ride up the hill is easy and never a problem on our scooters.

My Yamaha machines can handle 2 people up any hill... without effort.

 

It's your choice in regards to the mode of transportation in regards to how you want to see the island...:cool:

is it easy to get to on a bike? I am going with my husband, both of us are in somewhat athletic. Also, are the scooters for 1 or 2 people (he's a big guy 230 lbs). Thanks!

Hi,

Yes...the scooters are for one or two persons.....and they can easily handle your 230lb hubbie and yourself.

However, if your husband is 6'2" or more, he won't be able to drive with you on the back....no room.

If he is tall, then a motorcycle is a better option for the two of ya!

Otherwise the scooter is ideal....

Please remember I rent scooters and motorcycles.

The cost is $45 USD per person, and it takes about 45-60 minutes to complete the course...
