pieshops Posted June 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2016 My wife was born in Vietnam and was adopted at age 2 to an American family but does have an old Vietnam passport and birth certificate. Does anyone know about the Visa exemption for US Citizens and what is needed.

I understand that I was asking about the visa exemption and anyones experience with it as we are all exempted as she was born in Vietnam, The old passport is only for ID purposes to submit with the form to prove she was born there and she has a current US passport
TravelMore&More Posted June 8, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 8, 2016 Check the visa exemption process: http://www.myvietnamvisa.com/who-are-eligible-for-entry-overseas-vietnamese-visa-exemption.html Sounds more troublesome than getting a visa.
