Casino on Caribbean Princess ??

Hello All,

A local TA told me that the casino on the CP was very small. She said that it was so small in fact that she had to search for a quarter machine and didn't see any nickel machines. Anyone know what the real deal is?
Thank You
Doreen

Slots make as much money for Princess as some decks of cabins... I would always "bet" on them being there.

Compared to a Vegas, Atlantic City casino, or other land-based gaming facility, *any* casino on a ship will be very small. It felt bigger than on the Sun Class ships, tho. The quarter and nickel slots are towards the forward section (both sides) and along the walls with the dollar machines toward the aft section. There is a good selection of both. All video poker machines are multi-game, multi-denomination, so double check to make sure you're playing the right amount.

The only other thought I could add is to play early in the week. I had two small jackpots (video poker and one on the "I Dream of Jeannie" machine) early in the week, but lost it all in the middle/late part of the week. I will also say that, overall, the machines were very tight, so be prepared.

yensid1071...don't know about you but we been searching ALOT to find machines in Vegas that are only 5 lines...now adays the 9 lines and 15 lines are the most prominent. Used to be you couldn't find nickel slots but they found a way to get us on the nickels by uping the number of lines to play!
They'll get your money no matter what!

The Grand-class ships, including Caribbean Princess, have the largest casinos of any cruise ships out there, if you believe Princess, that is. There is a good selection of nickle slots. As Jay mentioned, the casino seemed to be very tight. You could jam charcoal into the machines and they'd spit out diamonds, that is, if they ever actually hit!

Video poker is 10-coins for max bet, and maximum coin is required for the royal flush jackpot.

You can definitely see Carnival's influence in the casino. And it's not for the better.
