In calling it a factory it is somewhat a matter of scale, it is in actual fact a villa which has been developed so that each room has beeen equipped to undertake a stage of the chocolate making process. The actual visit would probably last for about 30 minutes and in itself is very interesting, the methods used are more traditional rather than the mass production factories you see in North Americs and Europe. I would suggest that if you do decide to take a tour to the factory that you combine this with a visit to one of the other tourist attractions in the area such as the Rivers rum distillery which uses traditional distilling methods.
