Sofa beds on Koningsdam

We booked a FB family Oceanview on Koningsdam and wonder if the sofa bed will be open the whole cruise? Are foam tops available, and if so - would it mean that the bed stays open all the time?

Generally, the cabin stewards will close the sofa back up during the day, especially when it is a fold out, as it will be nearly impossible to walk past. Even when the sofa is a flip-over single bed type, ours was daily returned to sofa status so we had someplace to sit (this on the Veendam.) If you desired, I suppose they would leave it open if you requested it that way.
