Hi. I am not on your cruise, I am sailing the next day, Aug 28, on the BREEZE. I did two (2) solo cruises on the FREEDOM this past year however, snd had a very good time on both. The Alchemy Bar is a good spot to mix with other open minded and gay passengers. That is where the LGBT gatherings are held. No host, just just an announced time for LGBT to gather. Enjoy the cruise. I will be in Galveston early for my cruise and will be watching the sail a way for the FREEDOM.
