Tipping on Viking Star

Hello, our cruise isn't until Sept but was wondering how did you tip the personal on the Star? What currencies did you give them? What percentage did seem fair? Just trying to get money in order. Thanks.

Unless you tell them you want to make other tipping arrangements, $14 ? pp/pd will be automatically added to your shipboard account. That covers most of the ship ( tips at spa, bar tabs, etc. would be on an as used basis). You will also want to tip shoreside tour guides, bus drivers in local currency, if possible.

We agree. On tours no matter where we are in the world we have never had a tour guide , bus driver ect. refuse american dollars. We do exchange currency for shopping off ship tho.Kent and Sandy
