Does Carnival still add more FTTF slots close to the cruise?

I want to get it for my cruise on the Dream in September, but it's listed as being sold out. I remember that they used to open up some more slots within a few months of the cruise, but since it's been 3 years since I've cruised with Carnival, I don't know if they still do that.

They usually do but there's no guarantee they will, some stay locked out the last few others. Others open up the final week or two so don't give up. They come up at totally random times so keep checking, may be morning or may be the middle of the night.

Sometimes they do.

I am on a cruise in a month- the FTTF was sold out. I checked again last night, and it was available so I snagged it. :-)

Yay! This gives me hope that I could still get it. Needed to wait until payday Friday, and now it is showing as sold out. Our cruise isn't until 27NOV, so I will keep checking.
