flyersfan1129 Posted July 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2016 My son will turn 15 while on our Pride cruise 27NOV. I have searched these forums and the general consensus seems to be that he will at least be allowed a trial in Club O2. Is this still the case, and if so, how do I get him moved up? The online registration was for the lower age group, so I was wondering how to get that changed. Thanks in advance!
mibarron Posted July 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2016 All you have to do is talk to the counsellors in the clubs. My sons have been moved up, when they were close to turning or actually turning the age to switch clubs. They have always been accommodating so long as your child is alright with it and has no issues. He is already in high school, and I think he will be more comfortable in the older group.
cbCRR Posted July 5, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2016 You can go and ask the counselors once you board. Will he have a friend that is in O2, or just because the age? My girls were allowed into O2 on a trial basis a couple times (and allowed to stay), but always because she was being split from another friend. They said it also depends on the number of kids. Ask politely and let them know the situation, but be prepared for them to say no, just in case. I did this on my last cruise. I took 4 girls, 2 in each club. I registered them online, prior to the cruise, in the 'proper' club. Once onboard I asked the counselors during the first evening to allow them all to stay together in O2. They allowed it, but said that if they were being disruptive the girls would have to go back to their assigned club.
