Going from Port Everglades to The Port of Miami, same day

Hi all , I looked but couldn't find an answer to my question.

 

I was wondering if anyone has went from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to the Port of Miami (direct same day)and if so what is the best option (price and dependability)

 

I would love to rent a car but I am not sure you can rent at one port and return to another , so maybe there is someone who has taken a cab or shuttle that can give me some info.

 

I am fortunate enough to be getting off one ship in fort Lauderdale and leaving on another the same day in Miami , but having not done this before looking for a tip someone who has

You have options for the about 45-60 minute trip:

 

1. Taxi to FLL (about $15+) and from FLL take a shared shuttle to POM (about $15 per person). Check with SAS, QLS, Go Airport and others

2. Larry's Limos and others will make the trip direct port to port - how much depends upon how stretch you want the limo

3. Taxi for about $75-80+

4. Uber for under $50 (unless surge pricing is in effect)

 

If you have a large group travelling together you might be able to set up a direct transfer, port to port, with one of the shared shuttle companies.

 

I envy you for having the time to do side-to-side cruises. ;)
