WeeCountyMan Posted July 18, 2016 #26 Share Posted July 18, 2016 Don't panic folks. It's not for another 4 years. Will that be enough time for Thomsons to tame their rogue computer system and have it under some semblance of control ?

WeeCountyMan Posted July 19, 2016 #29 Share Posted July 19, 2016 Much prefer hard copy brochures for casual browsing to any online format. I suspect a view shared by many, possibly the majority ?
Malch_uk Posted July 20, 2016 #30 Share Posted July 20, 2016 Definitely! Difficult to keep several fingers in different pages for comparison purposes in a PDF brochure. 😀 Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

sweby Posted July 28, 2016 #32 Share Posted July 28, 2016 This is not a very good idea..........especially as they can't even work out how to put their ex UK cruises on the website! Besides which, you can't take the computer in the bath with you. This is where I do most of my planning.:) I don't understand why the ex UK cruises can't be online to look at. They used to have them. For a big company, they should be able to do much better with the IT part for bookings and exploring ships, and cabins online. Short video clips to show Ports and excursions. Get people to buy into the dream holiday. They could reduce paper wastage by producing fewer editions, asking people to return brochures to shop, or improving content to reduce pages. ormy Posted July 28, 2016 #33 Share Posted July 28, 2016 Online is only of use if you know what you want - a brochure gives you ideas as you flick through the pages, you can hold one page and go to another, try doing that on a website, a brochure for me any time.
