Car Rental - Sunday in Marseille?

We are a group of four and are considering visiting the acclaimed town and market at L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, we are arriving in Port aboard Carnival Vista.

Has anyone rented a car on a Sunday and if so does it have a convenient location to the port or do you have to travel into the City to collect which is time consuming and adding to the cost.

And the approx rental cost ?

Sorry not to have a more positive response, but you are unlikely to find city centre rental agencies open on Sundays in France. Your best bet would be to see if the internationals - Hertz, Avis etc at Marseille airport are open on Sundays, and get a taxi there and back from the port.
