My wife and i recently visited the French naval port of Toulon.

The city of Toulon is well worth a visit and is steeped in French naval history.

We were berthed a relatively easy walking distance from the centre and prior to arrival had planned to split our day between Toulon and the not too distant scenic coastal town of Cassis.

Street Cafe...though it was a little quiet
