I'm not any more worried living in Europe than I was living in the States post-9/11.

We have been home one week from a three month trip which included western and northern Europe, SPB, many other places for 51 night onboard.

 

After we left the ship we then traveled from London by rail spending several days in Amsterdam and several days in Brussels, several days in the London area. I loved our time in Brussels, I am so happy we went.

 

There was very obvious military and police presence.

 

Nowhere is "safe", we are in a world where anything can happen anywhere.

 

Frankly I am in more danger when I drive into the large city I live near, than I was in Brussels. Absolutely loved Brussels.

Announced today, London to increase armed police. Apparently, they have trained an extra 600 officers to specifically deal with terrorism.
