NCL Breakway or Getaway Room 5840 or 5240

From the BA, we walk by them daily this May - all of them seemed to have the same layout, Queen bed is closer to the picture window. These are among the biggest "standard" category of rooms on the *Away class ships - short of booking one in Haven, lots of space and should be very comfortable for 3 adults (bedding for up to 4.)

Your starboard stateroom is the last one, mid-ship AFT right behind the pair of stairs and steps from the elevators. If you are going ashore & sailing Bermuda, gangways are one deck below. There are sets of doors behind you - those are for crews coming from below decks ("I-95) and AFT section of the ship, off-limits to passengers - with a big empty space as you can see from the pictures uploaded here. Noise is not a problem in that area and crew members don't slam doors, or, run up and down screaming & yelling - you will get lots of hello's, good morning/afternoon/evening as they come & go and you happened to be coming out or going back to the room.

Taste is the MDR directly above your bank of staterooms - noise should not be an issue, unlike being below the gallery.

#5240 is that last room in the picture, exact opposite on BA's port side - never saw those double set of doors opened or use. Corridors in these areas are wide and you don't have any "Insides" rooms across.
