Daisyloo Posted July 24, 2016 #26 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Our three kids (30, 28, 25) and our son in law, have all sailed both Princess and HAL. While they enjoyed Princess, they all prefer HAL. So much so that when DD and DSIL were booking their honeymoon, they only wanted to consider a HAL cruise. They did the 12 night Baltic cruise on the Eurodam and loved every minute of it. Don't let the age thing decide for you. Hal will have great service, good food and drink in a nice elegant setting. There won't be hoards of kids, nor loud obnoxious drunks. No hairy leg contest or loud blasting music around the pool. For us, they are our first choice.
allready Posted July 24, 2016 Author #27 Share Posted July 24, 2016 What ship are you on? The ship and the sailing will make a big difference in the average age. Regardless, it's probably well worth a try. We are looking at the Veendam, Montreal to Boston
