We are going on the Eclipse in September and we would like to go to the casino just really for the experience. We are not big gamblers and always have a very modest limit we are prepared to lose, a win is a bonus!. My question is we will most likely play roulette now here in England in a casino there are different tables showing the minimum you can bet i.e 50p table, £1 table and £5 table. What is the minimum on the ship.

Many thanks for any replies.

We haven't sailed on the Eclipse, but on the other Celebrity ships we have sailed on I seem to recall that the minimum bet on roulette was $1 (on a single number).

I think even chances, colums etc had higher minimums.

In all Celebrity ships casinos you can only play with US$ regardless of where in the world the ship is.

Like you, I enjoy a fun game of roulette. The problem I have found on Celebrity ships is that very few others appear to wish to play the game and I frequently found myself the only person playing. For me, roulette is a social game and I enjoy playing with others. When you play alone, the game moves much too quickly and my modest stake goes very quickly.

It is somewhat irrelevant what the minimum stake is if the game moves too quickly and I have stopped playing. I hope your experience is different but I would hate you to be disappointed.

On cruises ex uk the casinos tend to be quite quiet compared to sailings ex US , we use the slots vet occasionally for a laugh with a cup of $10 !! When it's gone it's gone !!!

Saying that on our cruise in August ex uk there are tons of US residents so it may be busier.

Hi

It is $5 dollar minimum in the evenings so each bet has to be $5

You can bet on 5 numbers $1 each or all on one number

The tables can be busy and quiet and I prefer them to be busy so I can enjoy the social aspect.

The croupiers are generally very helpful and will explain all.
